The series of research on RNA and DNA in animal tissues infected with various photogenic microorganisms have been reported. This study was designed to clarify the influence of the infection on the genetic factors. A
The RNA and DNA contents in brain and liver tissues of albino mice which were paralyzed and were in the state of agony as the result of the infection with Japanese encephalitis virus. The SchmidtThanuhause-Schneiders´ method is applied for the determination of RNA and DNA.
According to the results, the DNA content in brain tissue of the test group was higher than that of the control group and the RNA content in liver tissue of the test group was lower than that of the control group. And these differences were remerkably significant.
